Firelight Emulator

Firelight is an upcoming libretro-based emulation frontend that will allow you to play your favorite legally-obtained retro games on a platform that gives you everything you'd expect from a modern application, plus more! Along with the features you love like save states, fast-forward, and rewind, here are some of Firelight's key features:

• A built-in ROM hack browser that allows you to find, download, and play ROM hacks with the press of a button. You can also drop in your own patches and Firelight will associate it with the correct ROM add it to your library.
• Easy, powerful library management that automatically picks up changes you make to your files and directories, lets you create your own folders, and lets you easily see your new games. 
• Safer save files keep track of your save data even if you rename your ROM, move it to an entirely different directory, or remove it and re-add it later. No more having to match exact filenames!
• Tightly-integrated RetroAchievements support that lets you earn, view, and show off achievements. Plus, Firelight will be the first emulator to let you earn achievements without being connected to the internet!

You can look forward to all of this stuff, too:

• Controller mapping profiles that are super easy to customize
• Drag and drop controller reordering
  
• Multiple save slots for every game
• A home menu with custom widgets, including "Open Last Played", "Play Random <platform> Game", and a lot more
• Activity log! Remember the 3DS and Wii U activity log? That's basically what you'll get to see :)
• Settings per platform and game

But wait, there's more! These things are a bit further out, but they're on the roadmap!

• RetroAchievements support [[ This got done early! It's ready now! ]]
• Netplay for every platform - play local multiplayer games over the internet!
• Discord Rich Presence (you'll be able to invite people for netplay via Discord, too)
• Randomizers integrated directly in the app
• Plugins for specific games - maybe you'd like to see your party in Pokemon without having to open the game...?
